Hi everyone 💜 I’m pretty new to yoga and I’m trying to find yoga poses that help with lower back stretching. I sit at a desk all day and by evening my lower back feels tight and kind of “compressed.”
I’m not looking for anything extreme—just a short routine I can do at home (10–15 min). Some forward folds feel like they pull more on my hamstrings than my back, and sometimes I’m not sure if I’m stretching or just rounding too much.
What yoga poses actually help loosen the lower back in a safe way? And any cues to avoid making it worse? If it matters: I’m not super flexible and I have occasional stiffness when I wake up. Thanks!
