Hi everyone, I’m practicing yoga at home (mostly YouTube) and I keep hearing teachers say “ground down” or “get grounded,” but I’m not always sure what to do physically.
Lately I’ve been feeling kind of floaty and scattered—like my brain is racing and I’m not fully in my body. It happens especially after a long day on screens, coffee, or when I’m stressed. I’m not looking for anything intense, just a few reliable yoga poses for grounding that I can do in the morning or before bed.
What yoga poses help with grounding the most for you? And do you pair them with any specific breathing or cues? Thanks 💜
