Lately I’ve been feeling kind of “floaty” and emotionally unsteady—like my brain is racing and my body isn’t fully here. It’s not a constant panic, more like I’m easily triggered, teary, or overwhelmed by small things. I do some yoga at home (mostly YouTube), but I’m not sure which poses actually help with emotional grounding vs just stretching.
What yoga poses help you feel more rooted and safe in your body? I’m especially curious about simple poses I can do when I’m having a rough day, and any breathing cues that make the grounding effect stronger. (Also open to short sequences.) If this is something that should be handled with a professional, I’m open to that too—just looking for community tips that are realistic.
