I keep seeing “sacred geometry yoga” on studio schedules and Instagram reels, and I’m honestly confused 😅 Is it an actual yoga tradition or more like a themed class?
Some posts show people doing poses inside geometric patterns (like flower of life / Sri Yantra vibes), and they talk about “aligning energy” and “frequency.” I’m open to spiritual stuff, but I don’t want to get pulled into something weird or overpriced.
If anyone has tried sacred geometry yoga: what happens in class? Is it just Hatha/Vinyasa with visuals, or does it have specific sequences, breathing, chanting, meditation, etc.? Also—does it connect to chakras or anything from Indian yoga philosophy, or is it more modern/New Age?
Would love a grounded explanation before I book a class.
