I keep seeing the term “embodied yoga” in class descriptions and on social media, but I’m not sure what it actually means. Is it just a fancy way to say slow yoga, or is it more about emotions and mindfulness?
For context: I’ve done basic vinyasa classes on and off, but lately I’m feeling kinda disconnected from my body (stress + too much screen time). I want something that helps me feel grounded without needing to do advanced poses. If anyone can explain what embodied yoga is in a practical way—and what a class usually feels like—I’d really appreciate it.
