Hi everyone 🤍 I’ve been dealing with pretty on-and-off sleep for months (I fall asleep ok, then wake up around 3–4am and my brain starts scrolling even if my phone is far away). I work at a laptop all day, I train 3x/week (mostly strength), and lately my recovery feels slower: sore legs for days, tight hips, and I feel “tired but wired” at night.
I’m curious: can yoga actually improve sleep and recovery in a real way, or is it more of a vibe/relaxation thing? If yes, what kind of yoga helped you the most (yin, hatha, vinyasa, breathwork, etc.) and when do you practice—morning vs right before bed?
I’m not super flexible and I get a bit embarrassed in class when everyone folds like paper. Also I don’t want anything that will hype me up before sleep. Any personal routines or poses that helped are welcome. Thank you 🪻
